“This is the one.
It’s coming back to Johhny Wilkinson.
He drops for World Cup Glory.
He’s done it, it’s over.
Wilkinson is England’s hero yet again and there’s no time for Australia to come back.
England have just won the Rugby World Cup”.
– The immortal words of BBC Commentator Ian Robertson –
On the 22nd November 2003, Fenella and I saw that wonderful event in Sydney as after a three week rugby holiday, we watched England win the rugby World Cup. We both agreed that it was one of the best and happiest days in our life together.
On 5 December 2003 Davina, Fenella’s sister lost her brave battle against cancer, the saddest day in our lives.
This was not supposed to happen. She had done well through all the treatments and with her deep faith was well on the way to recovery.
Little did we all realise how savage the cancer was and it returned with a vengeance.
Talk about 14 days of contrasting emotions and yes a reality check.
She was the same age as me, just 46 and left three wonderful children, husband and close family.
So, why Davina’s House for Hope?
Well Visit Here and all will become clear – and how I can use my knowledge to make property work for charity.
